Tom's Cookbook Library: 'Seasonal Baker' a welcome new volume

The Seasonal Baker” (Clarkson Potter), a new book (August, 2012) by John Barricelli of the SoNo Baking Company & Café in Norfolk, Conn., draws on Barricelli’s 35 years’ experience in commercial kitchens and, consists of a collection of 135 tried-and-true sweet and savory recipes. It’s suitably subtitled: “Easy recipes from my home kitch3en to make year-round.”

The baker also offers chapters on ingredients and equipment plus a shopping guide for fruits and vegetables.
