Snowbirds to fly at Waukegan air show
WAUKEGAN –When Tony Kazian is 1,000 feet up in the air performing tricks on the wing of a plane he is one with the sky.
“For that 15 minutes I’m not a husband and I’m not a father – I’m just doing the wing walking,” Kazian of Harvard, Ill. said, adding that he does not wear a belt or cable while standing on one leg or his head outside of the plane. “I have way too much fun to be scared.”
Kazian, a second-generation professional wing walker, and his performance partner pilot Dave Dacy will grace the skies Saturday, Sept. 8, during the 11th annual Wings Over Waukegan air show.
