Face Time with Lydia the Witch

Lydia, the witch , has been hanging around Fright Fest at Great America for the past few years. She's tall, thin and rather ugly with her long dark hair and scrunched-up face. Her voice is deep, throaty and wicked sounding.  Editor Sheryl DeVore caught up with Lydia while she was on her way to visit her friend, the Zombie on a recent day at Fright Fest in Gurnee.

Where do you come from, Lydia?

I come from everywhere. Well you know how you have all those other witches from all the other directions. I am all of them. I ate all of them. Well, one of them got sat on by a house and the other one was melted by water. I don't know why it was water. I think lava would have worked better.
