The Grayslake Library Foundation's fifth annual MiniGolf in the Library fundraising event will be held Saturday, Feb. 25, and Sunday, Feb. 26. MiniGolf is sponsored by the Grayslake Library Foundation and will have family-friendly competitions from 1 to 4 p.m. both days, according to a news release from the library. An adults-only event will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25.
Adult beverages will be available for purchase from The Vine of Grayslake at the evening event. Music and treats from the Dessert Extravaganza are included with an event ticket purchase.
Sponsors of this year’s Dessert Extravaganza with coffee are The Grayslake Exchange Club, Joyce Campbell Insurance Agency, Inc., Kirsten Howe, Churchill, Quinn, Richtman & Hamilton, Ltd. and D127 Superintendent Dr. Catherine Finger. The Vine of Grayslake will also host a cash bar with a variety of craft beer, wine, and add-ins for coffee cocktails.
Space is limited and tickets are available now at the library, cash or check only. Greens fees for the family friendly afternoon sessions are $5 each and include ice cream. Participants must be 21 or better to attend the evening event and the ticket cost is $20.
The library will remain open for regular business hours on Saturday (9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and Sunday (1 to 5 p.m.)
