Lake County Retired Teachers Association to celebrate 60th anniversary

The Lake County Retired Teachers Association will celebrate the group’s 60th anniversary with a special program, “The Tree of Learning: Past, Present and Future, 1957-2017.” The event is at noon April 11 at Lambs Farm’s Magnolia Cafe & Bakery at the corner of Route 176 and Interstate 94 in Libertyville. The cost is $20 a person and includes a buffet.

Guests include IRTA Executive Director Jim Bachman, Illinois Retired Teacher’s Association President Dave Davison, past Teachers Retirement System annuitant trustee Bob Lyons, Area II representative Bob Kaplan, Lake County Schools Superintendent Roycealee Woods and past LCRTA presidents.
