GRAYSLAKE – Calling all crafters, entrepreneurs, photographers and artists! The College of Lake County is hosting its second Holiday Gift and Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 4 and 5 at the Grayslake Campus, 19351 W. Washington St.
Vendors can rent a table to display and sell their gifts and crafts for $40 per day for a 72-inch-by-30-inch table and two chairs. Rent a tablecloth on site for an additional $5. The CLC Holiday Gift and Craft Fair is free and open to the public and will take place in the Student Street near the college’s main entrance.

Faith Lutheran Church in Antioch to host Christmas 4 Kids event
ANTIOCH – At 10 a.m. Dec. 2, Faith Lutheran Church will offer Christmas 4 Kids.
All children 3 years old through fourth grade are invited to this one-day free event. This year’s theme is Come Celebrate the Saviors’ Birth and will include crafts, games and lessons. A free lunch is included.
Registration is from 9:30 to 10 a.m. The session lasts until 2 p.m., but parents are invited back at 1:45 for the closing.

Metra and NBC 5 Chicago plan coat drive through Nov. 30
Metra again is partnering with NBC 5 Chicago for a coat drive at all five downtown Chicago Metra stations and all BNSF stations through Nov. 30.
New and gently used coats can be placed in special collection boxes at all downtown Chicago Metra stations – Union Station, Ogilvie Transportation Center, Millennium Station, Van Buren Street and LaSalle Street – and at all BNSF stations. The donated coats will be given to The Salvation Army for distribution to those in need.
This is the fifth time Metra, NBC 5 and the Salvation Army have teamed up to collect warm clothing. Last year, Metra customers donated more than 1,300 coats. For information, visit www.metrarail.com.
