FOX LAKE – To celebrate National Family Reading Night on Nov. 16, Fox Lake Lotus School District 114 hosted an event where educators, families and community heroes enjoyed some reading time together.
According to a news release, there were 15 themed rooms: Fox Lake librarian, mayor, police, fire/EMS, diver, doctors, NASA researcher, comfort dogs, flight attendant, military, florist, artist, athlete, farmer/machine operator, superintendent and conservation officer. Each room had a community leader to meet and greet visitors.
