Summer may finally be here, but parents should note that some schools and programs are taking registration for preschool and kindergarten next school year.
Check your local school district Web site for more information about district preschool and kindergarten programs.
But also note that there are other programs available, such as Noah's Ark Christian Preschool and Kindergarten, located at 98 Algonquin Road in Barrington.
Noah's Ark, which has classes for children ages 2 through 6, is registering now for the 2010-11 school year.
